Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2, 2026

Main Street Terminal (the "Service") is operated by Precision Decision LLC ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information the Service collects, how we use it, when it is shared, how long it is kept, and the choices you have. The Service is a research and decision-support tool; it is not a broker, custodian or adviser, and it never handles your funds or securities.

1. Information We Collect

Account and sign-in. When you create an account or sign in, we store an account identifier; your email address, display name and email-verification status as supplied by your sign-in provider (Apple, Google or email sign-in through our authentication provider, Supabase); the provider and provider account identifier; sign-in timestamps; your account role and status; and the records needed to complete sign-in flows. Apple sign-in may use Apple's private email relay, in which case we receive the relay address. If you sign in with Apple, we also keep the Apple refresh token in encrypted form; it is used only to revoke Apple's sign-in grant when you delete your account.

Terms acceptance. Each time you sign in, and when a membership or lifetime purchase is prepared in the Service (before the store completes it), we record that your account accepted the Terms of Service. The record holds your account identifier, the version of the Terms, the screen or action it came from, the time, your IP address and your browser or app identification string (the "user agent"). We keep it as a legal record, including after account deletion. If the record cannot be written, your sign-in or purchase still proceeds.

Usage and membership. To operate memberships and access we store your membership state and its source, usage dates and counts, request identifiers, the symbols and engines you submit to scans, and whether each request was accepted and why.

Watchlists, alerts, saved screens and preferences. If you use them, we store watchlist names and order, saved symbols, alerts and their read status, tracked setups and the notes you add to them, saved research criteria and selected contracts, saved screener criteria, recent symbols and page jumps, theme and layout preferences, and, on the desktop, the market-monitor symbols and date ranges, Activity filter presets and workspace panel layouts you choose. A saved screen you delete can be restored for 7 days and is then removed. Some preferences are kept only in your browser's local or session storage.

Portfolios and position ledgers. If you use the desktop Portfolio and Positions tools, we store the plans and ledgers you build: their names, the cash, holdings and scenario names you enter, and the deposits, withdrawals, purchases, sales, dividends, splits, marks and sector labels you record. These are figures you declare yourself; the Service never connects to a broker or custodian and never moves money. A portfolio or ledger you delete can be restored for 7 days and is then removed.

Earnings Radar and research records. The Earnings Radar keeps your most recent snapshots (up to 30), which carry your account identifier and the names of the watchlists they were built from. Research-outcome tracking keeps records of the scans, setups and checkpoints you capture, up to fixed limits.

Community. If you post in the community room, we store your messages, the reports you file about other posts, moderation records, the rooms you create and your room memberships. Your posts are shown to other signed-in members under a generated participant label, never your name or email address. Messages expire 30 days after they are posted. To enforce posting limits we keep the times of your recent posts for one day.

Research, market and event data. When you use scans, charts, events or symbol pages, the Service requests and caches market data for the symbols involved (quotes, option chains, expirations, implied volatility, greeks, flow and analyst feeds) from our licensed market-data vendor, and public records from official sources: SEC EDGAR filings and company facts, ClinicalTrials.gov study records, FDA advisory-committee calendars, Bureau of Labor Statistics and Bureau of Economic Analysis release calendars, Federal Reserve and Federal Reserve Bank of New York calendars and rates, Treasury auction and other U.S. government feeds, including the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the Census Bureau, the Energy Information Administration, the U.S. Geological Survey, the Environmental Protection Agency, NASA, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the National Weather Service, together with public datasets from the World Bank, Wikidata, the Uppsala Conflict Data Program, Global Energy Monitor, OpenStreetMap-derived data and OurAirports. Requests to these sources identify the Service by name and, for the SEC, a contact address, as their access rules require. They do not receive your identity. When you select a point on the weather map, the coordinates of that point are sent to the National Weather Service to fetch its forecast. Some content is loaded by your browser directly from third parties — company logos and news images from the hosts that publish them, and a charting library from a content delivery network if our own copy fails to load — and those hosts receive your IP address and browser identification string as part of the request, as with any website visit.

Support. If you contact support or send feedback through the Service, we store the message, its type, an optional symbol, the contact email you give (if you leave it blank, your account email is used), the page it came from, the time and its status, and we deliver it to our support inbox through a transactional email provider (currently Resend). If you use the in-app support conversation, we store its subject, status and the messages you and our staff exchange, with their times; a conversation expires 180 days after its last message, and we keep the times of your recent messages for one day to enforce posting limits.

Diagnostics. We keep server logs, authentication diagnostics (designed never to log secret values), error reports, and page-render reports that the app posts when a page fails to display properly (page address, browser type, which stylesheets applied). Logs may include request addresses and account identifiers. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics in the Service.

Payments. Memberships and lifetime access are sold through the Apple App Store, Google Play or another store or payment provider. That provider collects and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy; we receive only what we need to grant access — a transaction or receipt identifier, product, dates and status. We never see your card number. We assign your account a store account token so purchases can be matched to it, and we keep a record of the transactions and store notifications that grant or revoke access.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure your account; operate scans, events, earnings, watchlists, alerts, charts, research, portfolio, community and support features; enforce membership access and posting limits; remember your settings; deliver and answer support requests; detect, prevent and fix errors, misuse and security problems; keep records of terms acceptance, purchases and event-source attribution; and comply with law and protect the rights and safety of users and Precision Decision LLC.

3. When Information Is Shared

We share information only as needed to run the Service: with our authentication provider to sign you in and manage your account; with our market-data vendor and the official and public sources above when a feature needs data for a symbol, event or map point (they receive the request, not your identity); with the third-party hosts your browser loads content from directly (they receive your IP address and browser identification string, not your account); with other signed-in members, who see the community posts you choose to publish under your generated participant label; with the store or payment provider that processes your purchase; with our email provider to deliver support mail; with providers that host, store, back up or secure the Service; and when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety and security. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for advertising.

4. Data Retention

We keep account, membership and usage records while your account exists; community messages for 30 days after they are posted; in-app support conversations for 180 days after their last message; support and feedback emails until resolved and for a reasonable period after; deleted portfolios, position ledgers and saved screens for 7 days so that you can restore them; posting-limit records for one day; terms-acceptance and purchase records for as long as needed as a legal record; logs and diagnostics for a limited operational period; cached market and event data for as long as it is useful to the Service. Expired items are removed by a scheduled purge and whenever the feature is next used. Backups may retain copies for a further period.

5. Your Choices and Account Deletion

You can delete your account from the Account page. Deletion removes your account record and sign-in provider links (including the encrypted Apple token, after we ask Apple to revoke its sign-in grant), membership and usage records, watchlists, alerts, tracked setups, saved research and saved screens, preferences and workspace layouts, portfolios and position ledgers, Earnings Radar snapshots and research-outcome records, the support conversations you started, your support and feedback submissions, your community reports and posting-limit records, and your community room memberships; where configured, it also removes the upstream authentication user and revokes Apple sign-in access. Some records are redacted rather than removed: your community messages are replaced with a "Deleted member" marker with their text cleared and expire on their normal 30-day schedule; your messages in support conversations started by other members are cleared; rooms you created are renamed and their descriptions cleared; and a one-way hash of your account identifier is kept so that your deletion is not undone by a backup restore and your purchases cannot be replayed. Deletion does not remove public event-source records, provider-controlled records, logs, backups, data stored in your own browser or device, or records we must keep for legal, security, fraud-prevention or dispute reasons (including terms-acceptance and purchase records). Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription — cancel it with the store first.

You can also ask us at the contact below to access or correct the personal information we hold about you.

6. Age

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if higher, to use the Service. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the Service and your information, including encrypted connections, access controls and secret-handling practices. No system is perfectly secure and no method of transmission or storage is risk-free.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the Service with a new "Last updated" date; material changes will be noticed in the Service or by email.
